Smart Pupilometer (“the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses, how it is processed, and how we protect your information.

Camera Permission
The App requires access to your device’s camera solely to measure pupil diameter.
Camera access is used only while you are actively using the App. Without camera permission, the App cannot perform pupil measurements.
Face Data Processing
The App uses Apple’s Vision framework to detect the user’s face and locate the selected eye so that pupil diameter can be measured.
Camera frames and a temporary cropped eye image are processed entirely in the device’s memory to calculate pupil diameter. These images are never stored, transmitted, or retained after processing.
The App does not collect, save, or retain facial images, facial templates, biometric identifiers, face landmarks, or face geometry.
The App does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, user authentication, profiling, or tracking.
Purpose of Face Data Processing
Face and eye detection are used exclusively to:
- locate the selected eye,
- detect the pupil,
- calculate pupil diameter,
- display the measurement to the user.
No face-related information is used for advertising, marketing, analytics, user profiling, or any other purpose.
Data Sharing
The App operates entirely offline.
No camera frames, facial images, eye images, face landmarks, biometric information, or pupil measurements are transmitted to our servers or shared with any third party.
Data Storage and Retention
Camera frames and the temporary cropped eye image are processed only in volatile device memory during measurement and are immediately discarded after processing.
The App does not store or retain facial images, eye images, face landmarks, or any other face-related data.
Internet Connection
The current version of the App does not require an internet connection to perform pupil measurements.
Advertising
The current version of the App does not display advertisements.
Future versions of the App may include advertising services. If advertisements are added, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those services become available, including details about any data they may collect.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
